An entire year group at a West Sussex School have been told to self-isolate after one of their peers tested positive for Covid-19.

Felpham Community College in Felpham, Bognor Regis, was notified that a student had tested positive for the virus on Thursday (September 24) and asked the students to self-isolate to minimise risk to the rest of the school.

Headteacher Mark Anstiss said it is a 'significant step to take' but, after speaking with the relevant authorities, decided it was the best course of action.
