Donations will be used to support the ongoing field work of the society in Rother and Hastings. Kevin Cornwell, HAARG chairman, said: “Thank you for this funding. It all helps to unlock the history of local communities, our villages and towns, young and old. Stories of a hidden past are discovered and the fabric of communities told through our history.” The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
