Housebuilders are targeting Horsham in a search for land to build retirement homes.

Developers McCarthy and Stone have pinpointed Horsham town centre as a prime area to build housing for older people.

They are also searching for land in Chichester as part of a £10 million investment scheme in response, they say, to prime minister Boris Johnson’s appeal to ‘build, build, build.’
