Steve Mounie will serve a three-game ban after Huddersfield were unsuccessful in their appeal against the striker's red card in Saturday's match with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Mounie was sent off by referee Michael Oliver in the 32nd minute for a studs-up challenge on Yves Bissouma.

Terriers boss David Wagner was furious with the decision afterwards as his side led 1-0 at the time but went on to lose 2-1.
